Emily Cleveland N.D.

Dr. Emily Cleveland is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor.  She received her naturopathic education from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.  As a primary care provider she sees a wide variety of patients for annual exams and check ups. She uses physical medicine techniques, botanical medicine, homeopathy, nutrition, and neurofeedback to address both acute and chronic conditions.

Dr. Cleveland completed a yearlong mentorship with Kayle Sandberg-Lewis, LMT, MA, BCIA-EEG and Steven Sandberg-Lewis, ND, DHANP using the Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS).  Dr. Cleveland is now a certified provider of LENS neurofeedback and is experienced in using neurofeedback to treat many conditions including attention disorders, chronic pain, anxiety, sleep disorders, depression, and the many symptoms resulting from traumatic brain injuries.

During her medical education, Dr. Cleveland was among a group of twelve naturopathic interns chosen to work with Martin Milner, ND and Alena Guggenheim, ND at the Center for Natural Medicine’s “Heart and Lung Shift.” This internship provided in-depth knowledge and experience in the use of naturopathic protocols for the optimal care of patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.

In continuing to work with Dr. Milner as a resident, Dr. Cleveland has specific training in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), amino acid therapy, and compounded thyroid hormones. Dr. Cleveland believes that patients are best served when the physical, mental and emotional aspects of health are all considered and addressed. She believes it is important to put an emphasis on disease prevention by promoting healthy life-style choices and whole foods nutrition.
